Attorney General Ford Issues Statement on Recent Appeal in 2020 Fake Electors Case

Carson City, NV – Today, Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford issued the following statement after his office appealed the most recent decision in the Eighth Judicial District Court to dismiss the case against the 2020 fake electors. The Office of the Attorney General filed this appeal on Monday, Oct. 12.

“The job of my office is to seek justice, and we will continue to do so in this case,” said Attorney General Ford. “We believe that the District Court’s decision was wrong and we are confident that the Supreme Court of Nevada will agree. The 2020 fake electors attempted to undermine the results of Nevada’s free and fair election and in doing so attacked the very core of our democracy. I look forward to continuing the work needed to hold them accountable.”
